"It's a grown man's league."

Houston Rockets' forward PJ Tucker reportedly had not one, not two, but three root canals prior to Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals.

According to Houston Rockets beat writer, Jonathan Feigen, Tucker played in Game 6 against the Golden State Warriors with several cracked teeth, and then got three root canals prior to Game 7. And he never spoke a word of it to his teammates.

Tucker's toughness shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who has watched him during his career - he is usually tasked with guarding the top offensive threat on the opposing team and never backs down from a challenge, even after multiple root canals.

After Chris Paul went down with an injury in the WCF, Tucker told reporters, "It's a grown man's league. It doesn't matter—next man up. You've got to play. You've got to win. It doesn't matter who plays—step up."

Despite the procedure, Tucker finished with 14 points on 55.6% shooting from the field, in addition to 12 rebounds, four steals and two assists in his 44 minutes of action.
