Juelz Santana isn’t feeling Pusha T’s most recent diss aimed at Drake contrary to the sentiments of most of his contemporaries. While others have appreciated both Push and Drake’s actions in laying their transgressions on wax in the latest bout of lyrical warfare, the Dipset alum think’s Pusha T may have taken things too far for his taste on “The Story of Adidon.”
“Pusha Went 2 Far N It Was Still jus Satisfactory,” Santana penned in a brief post on his Instagram stories. “N He started All This Yall Jus Wanna See Drake Lose.”
Pusha’s “The Story Of Adidon” has been the latest development in his beef with Drake after the G.O.O.D. Music president decidedly took aim at everything from Drake’s parents, the alleged child that Drake father with model Sophie Brussaux, and even took an unsettling shot at Noah “40” Shebib who suffers from multiple sclerosis, going so far to rap, “OVO 40 hunched over like he 80, tick, tick, tick/How much time he got? That man is sick, sick, sick.”
He struck more than a few nerves with that one and even prompted the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to issue a statement about the line.
“It’s troubling to hear that a person’s disability would be made fun of by others. Multiple sclerosis, which affects more than 2.3 million people worldwide, is an often misunderstood disease. People living with MS face many challenges every day, which is why it’s so important to continue to raise awareness for MS so others can better understand those challenges,” wrote the organization.
Nonetheless, Push seemingly has no regrets about any of the jabs and warned that “all bets are off” after Drake mentioned Pusha’s fiancée Virginia Williams in his “Duppy Freestyle.”
“I definitely didn’t go too far with anything.” He told the Breakfast Club. “I’m here for the sport of it, but when it gets personal it gets personal.”
