The people vs. R. Kelly has already popped off, as the fallout of Surviving R. Kelly has spread far and wide. Word of Kelly's dubious conduct has long circulated, with "R. Kelly peeing on people" being a meme that predated memes, but now it would appear that a spotlight has been affixed on the once-beloved singer. Celebrities have openly turned on him, and many victims have shared testimonies of their disturbing experiences with "The Pied Piper." Even the nickname has disturbing connotations, as The Pied Piper enjoyed luring children and rats from villages, so the folklore goes.

In any case, legendary rapper Master P is the latest to weigh in on the Kelly debacle, joining the likes of Cam'Ron, Dame Dash, John Legend, Chance The Rapper, and more. Though he opts to take a relatively neutral stance, he makes it clear that some fault must fall on the parents. “Nobody gonna play with my kids. Straight up," says P. "You shouldn’t even be on TV if you’re a parent. You shouldn’t be on TV unless you’re on CNN from a jail cell. So I don’t know if R. Kelly did it or not. That ain’t my business. I ain’t judging, but I’m just saying that parents shouldn’t have let it go that far.”

He proceeds to say that were his own children involved with Kelly, it would have been "all-out war." Naturally, P's comments ruffled a few feathers, with some alluding to victim-blaming, or simply whitewashing the accusations entirely. Still, P's stance is but one of the myriad opinions coming to the surface, prompting a reminder that many things can be true at once. Where do you stand on this one?
