Dreamville is doing their part to help those in need.

J. Cole is a man of the people. Upon witnessing the destruction wrought by Hurricane Florence, Cole's Dreamville records have done their part in the name of hurricane relief. Taking to Instagram, Dreamville launched their foundation with a heartfelt message to the people of North Carolina and beyond.

"North Carolina has a very special place in our hearts. The impact of Hurricane Florence has displaced families and has caused unprecedented damage to Fayetteville," reads the caption. "The @DreamvilleFDN is asking for help and asking you to share this so we can spread awareness to help the people of Fayetteville.

Rappers have often done their part to raise awareness in the wake of a hurricane; from Jay-Z's haunting "Minority Report," to Trae Tha Truth's hands-on Hurricane Harvey efforts, hip-hop has continuously helped shine a light on those displaced by natural disasters. J. Cole, J.I.D, Bas, EarthGang, and the rest of the Dreamville roster are no different. Check out their Foundation's initiative here, and make a donation should you feel so inclined.
