As Future puts the finishing touches on his upcoming sophomore album Honest, it appears he has some business to take care of first. The ATL rapper announced that he has signed a new deal with Gee Roberson and Cortez Bryant’s management firm Blueprint Group Management.
Future will be co-managed by Blueprint Group and his current manager Orlando McGhee of Seventy Two Music. He will be joining high profile clients like Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, T.I., and Hit-Boy. This deal is effective immediately as Blueprint will behind the creative process for Future’s upcoming album Honest.
“We have long been impressed with Future’s talent and enjoyed interacting with him and his team,” adds Roberson. “Blueprint Group looks forward to working with our colleague Orlando McGhee on the continued development of Future’s brand as well as supplying Future with the guidance and tools necessary to emerge as a global arena artist.”
“I look forward to joining forces with Blueprint Group,” says McGhee in a statement. “They have broadened the careers of many A-List artists, and I am excited about the opportunities we will work on together to bring to Future.”
This move looks to be a smart one for both parties. Congrats Future!
