Wu-Tang Clan let their fans know a new project was on the way back in May of this year. At the time, it was said that the album was meant to celebrate their debut's anniversary. Since Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) was released on November 9th, it could be assumed that the new LP would hit our ears in colder months. It seems like Wu-Tang is giving us a gift earlier than expected.
Today, a photo of the album's sleeve was posted to the group's Instagram account. The cover was revealed along with some information about the release in the caption:
"New LP for Pearl Harbor from Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues goes up on 36chambers.com for pre-sale next Wednesday. Includes a brand new remix from @mathematicswu featuring Pharoahe Monch and Tek. #wutang"
The cover reads as a "Shaolin Global Times" newspaper cover. The paper's print is August 10, 2018, which is most likely the album's release date, considering the fact that the album will be available for pre-order as of next Wednesday, August 1.
The record includes appearances from a few iconic artists like Sean Price, from Heltah Skeltah, and Pharoahe Monch. Fans are likely ready to rock to those new instrumentals the cover advertises.
Then there's this post. Despite the lack of details, fans are going wild.
