50 Cent's been an OG in the game and over the past few years, we've seen him connect with the younger generation, both on wax and in real life. Fif was one of the first OG's (if not the only) to show Tekashi 6ix9ine love in recent months. Likely because the two have a similar trolling methods. Despite being amused by 6ix9ine's feuds, he also showed love when 6ix9ine and Casanova squashed their feud. Since then, he's teased a song that features both artists as well as Uncle Murda. While we've been waiting a minute for its release, Fif has officially revealed when we could expect to hear the song and watch the visuals.
Uncle Murda's "Get The Strap" single has finally landed an official release date. 50 Cent took to social media to announce that the song and video will be premiering this weekend after the upcoming episode of "Power." The song features both Fif and Uncle Murda as well as Casanova and 6ix9ine. The video is directed by Eif Rivera who's most recent efforts include Cardi B's "I Like It" as well as DJ Khaled's chart topping single, "I'm The One" with Lil Wayne, Chance The Rapper, Quavo and Justin Bieber.
A few weeks a go, all four artists were on set for the music video when it was interrupted by gunfire, according to reports. 50 Cent and 6ix9ine were filming when the shots let off. Casanova and Uncle Murda were also on set. Thankfully, no one was harmed.
