The Chiefs look like a likely contender next season.

This season, quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs were probably the most entertaining entities in all of football. Thanks to their high-flying offense, the Chiefs were one of the best teams in the NFL and ended up just an overtime away from making it to the Super Bowl this season. Mahomes ended up winning the league MVP as he threw for 50 touchdowns in only his second season in the league. He's a phenomenal talent and this Chiefs team has a ton of potential moving forward. So much potential that the oddsmakers have the Chiefs as the favorite to win the Super Bowl next season.

The Chiefs will open the season with 6-1 odds to win the Super Bowl, while the New Orleans Saints, the Los Angeles Rams, and the New England Patriots all have 8-1 odds. The team with the worst chances to win are the Miami Dolphins, who have been given 300-1 odds.

Obviously, anything can happen next season. Injuries happen all the time and sometimes teams that are given a small chance end up surprising everybody so it's way too early to really make a prediction. However, the Chiefs are definitely a solid choice given what they showed us this season.

Who do you think is taking it next year?
