The BET Awards show are currently in progress, but the rapper with the most nominations does not seem to be in attendance. Drake led the pack with 12 nominations, however, rumor is he canceled his scheduled appearance at the awards show.
According to gossip site RadarOnline, Drizzy pulled out of the show at the very last minute, the reason for which is a mystery. Apparently the producers of the show were scrambling to deal with the last minute changes.
"Everything is in flux," the source told RadarOnline. "The producers are all pulling their hair out."
Drake's name was also left off the list of performers and presenters at the BET Awards. Drake has famously beefed with one of the BET performance openers, Chris Brown, but there's no confirmation on if his absence at the show tonight was because of this (that's the rumor though).
[UPDATE: Drake Explains Why He Missed BET Awards]
Drizzy was noticeably absent from last night's 2013 BET Awards, and rumors had circulated as to why he didn't show, including he was dodging Chris Brown. Looking to clear the air, the Toronto native took to Twitter and explained that he stayed home to continue to work on his upcoming album, and spend more time with his family before heading out on tour and press promo for the new project.
He also gave a shout out to Best Male Hip Hop artist winner, Kendrick Lamar for taking home the award.
