Jordan Brand has a special edition collection in the works with Paris Saint-Germain, which will include a range of apparel, including the basketball jersey that Travis Scott recently rocked on stage, as well as a couple of different sneakers. Among the Paris Saint-Germain Air Jordans on deck is an exclusive Air Jordan 5 that was officially introduced today.
The "PSG" 5s are built on a stealthy, all-black suede upper reminiscent of the club's alternate kit as well as the team's logo on the heel of both shoes. Additionally, the newly unveiled sneakers have "75" embroidered near the heel in place of the familiar 23, and a graphic underneath the mesh paneling, which reads "Paris" with a Jumpman in place of the "A." The 75 is reportedly a reference to zip codes used throughout the city of Paris.
Nike is the longtime sponsor of Paris Saint-Germain so it's not a total surprise that they've produced a special PE, especially since they recently captured France’s Ligue 1 title for the fifth time in the last six seasons.
Jordan Brand has not announced when the PSG Air Jordan 5s will release, but rumors suggest the kicks will be dropping in limited quantities in early September.
