Following the incredible Beychella, Beyoncé solidified herself to many as the greatest live entertainer of her generation. Her ambitious shows leave plenty of room for error, but you never see Knowles miss a step. Some things, however, are beyond a performer's control; for instance, the floating stage that malfunctioned while Bey was on it earlier this year. At her most recent date on the OTR II tour in Nashville, Bey had yet another curveball thrown at her, but -- as Beyoncé does -- she recovered flawlessly.
As she descended a staircase while Jay-Z's "Song Cry" played, one of Beyoncé's heels momentarily slipped out from under her. Anyone else would have been sent tumbling down the entire set, but Bey acted quickly and recovered in an instant, leaving anyone who happened to blink none the wiser.
Earlier today, it was revealed that Beyoncé and Jay-Z have earned over $150 million on their current tour, and there are still 19 dates left! The tour has already grossed more than the first incarnation in 2014 ($109.6M) and is projected to pull a total of $250 million by its closing in October. It leads Billboard's Hot Tours list with Taylor Swift following at $20.5 million from her Reputation tour.
