The Internet coming through with a live set later this week.

The Internet recently dropped off two hot new singles like the groovy "Roll (Burbank Funk)" and the ultra-chill "Come Over." Both beats come off their upcoming tape Hive Mind that's set to drop July 20th. Before we get our hands on the full project, Syd and her backing band will be hitting up The Jimmy Fallon Show for a live performance and we're hoping they tease some more unreleased material.

“If you google what ‘hive mind’ means, it’s basically a collective ego, a collective mind. You know, when people are together they have a collective mindset. And I think when we’re together we all have a common goal, and we move in the same direction," the crew's Matt Martians said

Syd recently opened up to Billboard about using her platform to inspire young women like herself. “In the beginning of my career, I made it a point to avoid [sexuality] topics of conversation and just normalize it. Being gay is normal,” she said. “These days I’m not shying away from these kinds of topics. I do want to inspire people -- young girls who may like to wear boys’ clothes and who romanticize women and feel nothing wrong with it.”

She added: “I’ve always been comfortable with my gayness, but I was intimidated by the social anxiety. What I’m focused on these days is stuff that empowers and unites women. If you want to be a pioneer, you have to be intentional, at least a little bit.”
