Cardi B and Fashion Nova's collection breaks a new record for the retailer.

Cardi B has been advocating for Fashion Nova for a minute at this point, so a collaborative line between the "Money" rapper and the retailer didn't come as a shock to many people. Fashion Nova's chief executive already expected it to sell out pretty quickly and he was right. The FN x Cardi collaborative line sold out shortly after its launch, breaking a new record for the retailer.

Fashion Nova announced at the wee hours of the morning that their collaboration with Cardi B sold out quickly and broke a new record for the retailer. The rapper took to Instagram to share the news with her followers.

"So my Fashion Nova collection sold out a couple of hours ago, and I would like to say thank you [to] everybody that purchased and I'm sorry for anybody that couldn't get to it," she said. "We will be restocking some items for Black Friday. And we will restock the collection in two or three weeks."

She continued to thank everybody that came out to celebrate the launch as well as City Girls, Saweetie, Dream Doll, and Brianna Perry for performing at the event.

The FNxCardi line consisted of 82 pieces that ranged from $12.99 to $199.99. The rapper previously stated that she aimed for her line to look like high fashion at an affordable price.
