Despite everything that R. Kelly did to his ex-wife Andrea Lee Kelly, the mother of three is not against him reaching out to his three children, TMZ reports.
A representative for Andrea tells the publication that R. Kelly is free to contact his kids, Jay, Joann and Robert Jr. since they are adults now. Apparently, the "Ignition" singer hasn't reached out to them in months and they are well aware of the accusations held against their father, even though they have not watched the six-part docuseries.
A video recently went viral of Andrea singing along to one of R. Kelly's songs "Happy People" that lead to her representative defending her choice of music amid all her allegations.
"This (video) in no way should be perceived as an extension of support for R. Kelly, but should be viewed as a statement of her strength and not having been defeated," her rep stated, adding how the clip (as seen below) is "several years old" and everyone has their own healing process.
"I just remember sitting in the back of the Hummer and it got blue," Andrea previously stated of R. Kelly strangling her. "And I just thought, oh my God, I'm gonna die in the back of this Hummer. And he’s gonna drive off with my body in the back seat, and nobody's gonna know."
