During a recent interview, Just Blaze says that people are overreacting to Kendrick Lamar's verse on "Control".

Kendrick Lamar had the internet on fire Tuesday night thanks to his verse on Big Sean's "Control" track. While promoting his brand new video for Jay Z and Baauer's-featured record "Higher", Just Blaze was asked in a recent interview to weigh in on that Kendrick verse. Blaze also mentioned he had some beats that needed to be finished for Drake.

During his sit down interview, Just Blaze mentioned that some of the artists are taking things out of context and maybe too personally with their responses to Kendrick's verse. Believing that people are "overreacting", Blaze had this to say about it:

The verse is amazing. The fact that he named names is great. But I don't think he was naming names in a way like, I'm playing y'all or I'm coming at y'all. It was, Y'all are all my homies, but check this out I'm about to crush every one of y'all and be number one. I mean really, who aspires to be number two? I didn't take it as an open call to battler everyone and anyone. So some of the reactions I've seen are a little bit of an overreaction."

Just Blaze also went on to mention he had three beats that needed to be finished for Drake.

"The main thing in my brain right now is these three beats I need to finish and get to Drake. I just haven't had time. They're halfway there and I just got to get them done," revealed Just, who is also executive producing Slaughterhouse's new upcoming album.
