Footage of the Wild 'N Out segment that rubbed Azealia Banks the wrong way has now surfaced, from the source itself. In the video (below) DC Young Fly appears to insinuate that Azealia was only a plan b option to Nick Cannon's "first choice" Cardi B. Understandably, the joke was only told in jest, the game they were playing was after all called "So Petty." The contestants were expected to fly well below the invisible line of decorum.
Before the Cardi bit was muttered by Young Fly, Azealia Banks could be seen smiling as teammate Chico Bean levelled off a joke at Nick Cannon's expense. The video does show her facial expression become dour, as she scans the room for sympathy, which likely had irregardless.
Azealia later expressed contempt for DC Young Fly, calling his humor "Anti-Black." We now know Banks was alluding to Cardi B's mixed Caribbean ancestry, if at all possible. The precise words she used to describe Young Fly's actions that night were as follows: "Some little scrawny black Atlanta twink was prepared for me. They planned this - hit me on short notice, told me I didn’t have to participate in the c*** ass freestyle battles, (not my style) and I was to sing my song and go home."
