According to reports, Tekashi 6ix9ine is trying to keep certain evidence away from the jury.

Tekashi 6ix9ine was back in Houston court this week to deal with his legal situation regarding the alleged choking of a 16 year old at a mall. Although nothing too significant occurred during this week's hearing, the rapper has reportedly filed documents to keep specific piece of evidence and testimony away from the jury.

According to The Blast, Tekashi 6ix9ine is nervous about the possibilities of his conversation with police being made public. The rapper claimed in court that whatever he ultimately said to police was done under duress. The rapper has suspicions that he may have been recorded while in police custody and now claims that any statement he made was "“involuntary coerced or enticed” by authorities. The rapper also said he didn't mean to disregard his rights by having his lawyer present at the time he was interrogated. Additionally, he has filed a request to block prosecutors from bringing up any arrests or convictions to the jury.

At this point, there's nothing that indicates what he said to police or even what the police questioned him on but the rapper is clearly fearful of the impact it might have on his legal case or even his career.

Following his appearance in court, it was reported that 6ix9ine's lawyer is currently working with the prosecutors to get the case dropped. We'll keep you posted on any updates.
