Michael Carter-Williams may have won NBA rookie-of-the-year honors back in 2014, but his career since then has been tumultuous, to say the least, as he has bounced from team to team. Carter-Williams started with the Sixers and since then has played for Milwaukee, Chicago, Charlotte, and most recently Houston. However, according to a report from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Carter-Williams is going back to the Bulls.
He won't be in Chicago for long though as Wojnarowski continued with his report, stating the Bulls plan to waive Carter-Williams since his contract would be guaranteed for the season as of 5 P.M.
According to Sporting News, Carter-Williams is averaging just over nine minutes a game this season and 4.3 points per game. His play has been a far cry from his rookie season when he finished that campaign with 16.7 points per game.
