As you may know by now, Minaj has confirmed that she is in a relationship with Kenneth Petty. Petty has been accused of all kinds of crimes, including attempted rape and manslaughter. He served seven years in prison for the latter crime. The Barbz were not pleased with this information, but Minaj struck back claiming the rape wasn't in fact what it sounds like. TMZ did some digging and learned that Minaj and Petty have known each other for a very long time, In fact, sources close to the situation told the media site that Minaj and Petty started their romance at 16. The Queen rapper believes that Petty has grown and matured since the days that he sat in prison, and is confident that a second chance will prove his loyalty and progress. The sources also claims that Petty was one of Minaj's first loves. It seems like everything comes back around, and Petty is getting the second chance of a lifetime.
