Bots are really out here trying to ruin the sneaker game.

Jeff Staple's latest collaboration with Nike, the Nike SB Dunk low "Panda Pidgeon" was supposed to release on Sunday through the NTWRK app at 8 P.M. ET, however, a bot attack forced the release to be delayed.

The announcement was made on Staple's Twitter account where he apologized for the delay and that the "bots won"

Bots have been a huge problem in the sneaker world these days. They essentially allow people to purchase shoes without physically adding to cart or making the purchase themselves. Bots are quicker than any human could ever dream of being and when companies don't pay attention, their stock can be eviscerated by illegitimate buyers.

As of right now, there is no new release date for these sneakers but stay tuned for any future updates.
