Jermaine Dupri has been feeling beets lately and it's not the music type. The rapper has teamed up with PETA to promote a health-conscious lifestyle that involves eating no meat or animal by-products. We're not so sure when Jermaine made the dietary switch but by the looks of the new campaign he's released with the organization, he may never be going back to the burgers and steaks.
"I want the world to know the vegan lifestyle, to me, is the best lifestyle," he says in the video below. "I feel like anybody that has a problem with their energy level being right, tired all the time, you can definitely feel the difference. A vegan lifestyle puts you on that track to just be healthy."
Last month, Jermaine announced his label's anniversary tour for So So Def Records that's turning 25. "The Cultural Curren$y Tour" will feature Bow Wow, Youngbloodz, Da Brat, Dem Franchize Boyz, Anthony Hamilton and chart-topping RnB groups Xscape, Jagged Edge and more. The tour kicks off this fall beginning in Washington on October 14th. “This is perfect timing” he said. “This is the 25th anniversary of a black-owned record company that put out multiple artists and enough artists to do our own tour. We’re blessed basically.”
