For those who hold hip-hop history close to their heart, a throwback picture is always appreciated. We previously saw Irv Gotti harken back to a time where he rolled alongside DMX and Jay-Z, triggering feelings of nostalgia in golden era aficionados. Though the aforementioned trifecta largely rose to prominence in the late nineties, another trifecta was dominating the scene in 1996. The legendary Snoop Dogg recently shared a photo of himself, MC Hammer, and the legendary Tupac Shakur, dressed to the nines at what looks like a high-end event.
Pac fans know that 1996 was a significant year for the rapper, who passed away that September. Yet prior to his murder, the rapper dropped off his classic All Eyez On Me album, which would ultimately be his last official project. The album featured fellow Death Row rapper Snoop Dogg, who appeared on tracks like "2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted" and "All Bout U."
Respect to Snoop Dogg (and MC Hammer) for sharing this, and though it goes without saying, rest in peace Tupac Shakur.
