Cyntoia Brown's story is one that has shocked many. The now 30-year-old just got handed a 51-year prison sentence for shooting Johnny Mitchell Allen when she was protecting herself from his sexual abuse. Cyntoia was just 16-years-old at the time and now she's being charged with first-degree murder.
"The system has failed. It’s heart breaking to see a young girl sex trafficked then when she has the courage to fight back is jailed for life! We have to do better & do what’s right. I’ve called my attorneys yesterday to see what can be done to fix this," Kim Kardashian tweeted of the matter and now T.I. has joined the many voices speaking up.

The disgraced financier only served 13 months in jail for sexually assaulting teenage girls.
We can only hope the amount of protest leads to some relief in Cyntoia's case.
