The Adult Swim Festival adds a giant "Rick and Morty" orchestra to the lineup.

The Adult Swim Festival is around the corner (October 5-7) and it promises quite the convergence of music and entertainment associated with the mature-themed cartoon network. A 37-piece orchestra getting schwifty to original Rick and Morty sheet music will take the stage on the 3rd and final day of performances in Los Angeles. The ensemble referring to themselves as The Rick and Morty Musical Ricksperience are scheduled to perform on the same bill as Big Freedia, Run The Jewels and $uicideboy$.

As previously reported, the Saturday lineup will include a stand-up set by Hannibal Burress, as well as musical performances from Thundercat, Father, Clams Casino and a set by Flying Lotus with glaring 3-D elements. FlyLo has spent the majority of the year touring his 3-D extravaganza to a wondrous reception worldwide.

On the preview night (Friday, October 5) another interactive element takes center stage, as T-Pain drops down to perform music from Freaknik: The Musical, the animated program T-Pain lent his voice to as the Ghost of Freaknik. Even Hannibal Buress is associated with the network through his sidekick duties on The Eric Andre Show. All in all, The Adult Swim Festival promises to do a little bit of everything, but is mostly centered on fans of Adult Swim programming. Get your tickets Today.
