The Nike Air More Uptempo is probably one of the most polarizing sneakers in the Nike library. It's a classic sneaker but it splits sneakerheads down the middle. Some say it is simply way too bulky, while others love the aesthetic which sees the word "AIR" written in huge air bubbles on the side. The sneaker also has an air max bubble on the midsole making these pretty comfortable for such a large shoe. Either way, it's an ambitious design and continues to be a popular shoe for Nike.
Now, Nike is looking to go even more ambitious with the Nike Air More Uptempo, as they are replacing the midsole with the Nike Air Max 720 midsole, making this shoe look way different than it used to. Of course, the Air Max 720 has just dropped its first colorway and Nike has a whole slew of colorways lined up. It only makes sense that they would try to transfer the technology to an already established model.

The Nike Air More Uptempo is part of the brand's lineup for the NBA All-Star game, with these kicks releasing on February 17th, according to Nice Kicks. They will be coming in an all-black colorway with "AIR" and "MAX" written on the sides, while the air max unit wraps all the way around the shoe.
Are you feeling these or are they too out of a left field to pull off?
