As Blueface continues his run as the latest viral sensation in this generation of hip-hop, the West Coast emcee has been earning notable props from what has seemed to be the most unlikely of places. The latest to lend the cosign is producer Scott Storch as Blueface and Lil Pump teamed up for a studio session that involved the legendary producer as well as Mike Crook.
"We cooked up something special for @bluefacebleedem n @lilpump 🔥 with 🔥🔥 @mikecrook_ 💨, Storch captioned in a photo. "@wack100 made this collab happen and its fiyyyya."
In a clip that teases the track that the quartet has created, the production is a clear West Coast-influenced sound with Blueface coming on with his signature flow.
While we await the final product, we're also waiting on just what Lil Pump has up his sleeve on the forthcoming Harverd Dropout album, the follow up to his self-titled debut. Currently, the album is in promotion mode with the arrival of "Butterfly Doors," which was a source of controversy for Pump who caught fire for offensive lyrics directed toward the Asian community. Pump has since come forward with an apology for the lyrics and muted the ill-conceived "Yao Ming" and "ching chong" lines from the track's music video.
