The 40-year-old icon expands his crew ahead of his next career moves.

Usher is entering a new phase in his career as he signs a deal for international representation with 100 Management. The company founded by Luke Mitzman also works with Zane Lowe, Netsky and Maya B. Usher's current management team, led by Julia Khan, will be working with the new associates at 100 as the singer prepares the release of new music, including a full-length album set for release in 2019 via RCA.

Mitzman commented on the new professional relationship with praise for the new signee.

“Usher is a global icon and one of the world’s greatest ever artists. It’s an honor for us to work with him on this new exciting chapter of his career.”

The "Confessions" singer has worked with multiple management teams since his debut in 1994. He has been connected to Benny Medina, Randy Phillips and Scooter Braun at different times throughout the years, while his mother, Jonetta Patton, was often involved. Most recently, Usher dissolved his relationship with his wife Grace Miguel who also acted as his manager in 2015. Their separation was officially announced earlier this year.

Fans are still hopeful for a classic R&B album from the crooner. His last release, the Zaytoven-produced A, was received with some disappointment by parts of his following for its divergence from his signature sound.
