Chris Tucker to be back running his mouth for $ - and I say that with no ill-will whatsoever. The iconic comedian describes his Rush Hour partnership with Jackie Chan as a "perfect match," and it's pretty easy to see why. Tucker spoke about Jackie, the upcoming Rush Hour 4 project, and his past relationship with Michael Jackson in an appearance on the Winging It podcast - simulcast on Art19.
"We're working on a few things on the script right now, so we’re trying to get into production. But we’re working on it and trying to get it going," Tucker revealed to his hosts on the subject of Rush Hour 4's current production status. He pressed on, "Jackie Chan wants to do it, I want to do it, (the) studio wants to do it, so we’re trying to get it together."
As for Tucker's onscreen chemistry with co-star Jackie Chan, the comedian refers to his partner's blend of martial arts, comedy and charm as a perfect compliment to his one-sided arsenal, while also crediting himself with a unique comedic style all the same. While we await further developments from the Rush Hour 4 team, it's worth noting that Rush Hour and its two sequels have garnered an incredible $849 million at the Global box office. Rush Hour 4 would realistically push the franchise past the billionaire threshold - keep it locked.
