The beloved "Grape" Air Jordan 5s are returning to retailers later this month with some subtle modifications as a nod to the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. While the kicks will still feature the familiar white leather upper accompanied by hits of emerald green, purple and black, this time around they'll come without laces.
Nike recently introduced official images of the upcoming grape "Fresh Prince" Air Jordan 5s, which feature eyelets that have been sealed shut so sneakerheads will have to rock them the way Will Smith did during the '90s. Additional details include "West Philadelphia" text debossed just below the puffy purple tongue, Fresh Prince-inspired insoles and emerald green "Nike Air" branding on the heel.
Furthering the ties to the Fresh Prince, these Air Jordan 5s will be available at retailers on September 25 in celebration of Smith's 50th birthday. The kicks will retail for $190.
