After a string of controversies including appearances at SNL and a visit to meet Donald Trump in the Oval Office, Kanye West flew out to Uganda with his wife and his kids to work on his upcoming album, Yandhi. 'Ye and his wife have been documenting their trip via social media. During their visit to the East African country, the couple visited the town of Masulita for a kids charity event where they danced with the children and gifted them pairs of Yeezys.

Kanye West hasn't only been locking in studio time in Uganda during his visit, but he's been hanging out with the locals and taking in as much of the culture as possible. According to TMZ, the Ugandan president, Yoweri Museveni, allowed Kanye and Kim to fly from Chobe, Uganda to Masulita on his presidential helicopter to surprise children at a kids' charity event. Not only did Kanye rap for the kids and dance with them, but he and Kim also brought out a big duffel bag full of Yeezys as gifts to the children.

Earlier this week, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian met with President Museveni where they reportedly discuss how to promote tourism and the arts in Uganda. Kanye West also gifted the president with a pair of Yeezys as well.
