Both coaches have a mutual admiration for each other.

Sean McVay and Bill Belichick have a 33 year age gap. McVay is 33, while Belichick is 66. Despite the generation gap, both coaches seem to be big fans of each other and even texted one another after games this season. Belichick has won multiple Super Bowls while McVay will be coaching in his first. It will be an interesting matchup and a storyline that will have people intrigued throughout the game. McVay was asked about Belichick during his press conference Thursday and spoke about Belichick's legacy.

"I think some of the things I'd like to learn from when you watch and appreciate what he's done for so long is the consistency," McVay explained. "Even when you just hear him speak, the wealth of knowledge and experience that he's pulling from is incredible. And he's got such an ownership and mastery on offense, defense and special teams.

McVay than spoke about his own team and why he thinks they were able to make a run to the Super Bowl this season.

"Football is the ultimate team game," McVay said. "It truly takes everybody and I think that's what's special about what we've got going on this year."

McVay became the youngest head coach in NFL history when he was hired by the Rams in 2017 at the age of 30.
