A few days back, T.I. took aim at his mortal enemy Donald J. Trump by targeting his wife Melania in a lewd video. The clip can be seen here, in which a Melania Trump lookalike strips naked and proceeds to seduce Tip, all while the rapper kicks it in the Oval Office. While Trump has yet to respond directly, Melania's camp has since come out against the video.
Melania Trump's rep Stephanie Graham issued a statement, as documented by TMZ. "Like it or not, she is the First Lady and this is the White House," writes Graham. "It's disrespectful and disgusting to portray her this way simply because of politics." She continues stating "these kinds of vulgar attacks only further the divisiveness and bias in our country - it needs to stop."
The sad reality is that T.I's depiction of Melania in such a humiliating manner only serves to reinforce her position as a victim; you may recall the first lady dubbing herself "the most bullied person in the world," only to be met with skepticism across the board. It's unfortunate that T.I. positioned himself in such a way, given his typically logical and respectful demeanor; perhaps Kanye West's recent meeting with Donald Trump truly set him down a dark path.
