For months now, Trippie Redd has been saying that his long awaited Life’s A Trip album would be dropping in July, even saying it was supposed to be a double album, but as you know we’re getting close to the end of the month and there’s still no word on its release. Well unfortunately that’s because it’s no longer coming out this month now and is being pushed back till August.
On Wednesday night, Trippie took to his IG story and informed fans on there that the album got pushed back, which shouldn't come as a huge surprise.
“Album got pushed back, August here we come,” he says in the clip. Of course he didn’t clarify when in August we can expect to hear, but this rollout has been pretty sloppy & drawn out, so Im hoping it actually sticks this time.
However, to make up for the delay, Trippie has at least kept fans happy by dropping off new music in the meantime. Just yesterday, the Ohio crooner released not one, but two new songs, including “Black Magic” & “Bilap,” the latter of which featured Chief Keef.
Check out Trippie’s setback announcement below (swipe right for clip) and keep your eyes peeled for further updates, like an actual concrete release date for the album. Stay tuned.
