Cardi B was supposed to be on the road with Bruno Mars right now assisting him with his 24K Magic world tour, but due to the fact that she gave birth before it officially started, she had to drop out for the health and comfort of her baby. “I thought after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally & physically. I also thought that I'd be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated the whole mommy thing," she told fans.
Now that it's been almost two months since the birth of Kulture, Cardi is ready to hold a show of her own and it will be at this year's Global Citizen Festival. Having already announced Cardi's involvement with the show, she's taken to Instagram to let her fans know how excited she is. "I’m so excited that my first performance back will be at the Global Citizen Festival!!," she captioned a promo video for the festival.
Other acts on the line up include The Weeknd, Janet Jackson, Sean Mendes, Janelle Monáe and more. The event takes place in Central Park, New York City on September 29th.
