Justin Timberlake has been travelling across North America during his Man of the Woods tour, which recently made a stop in Texas for a two-night stint at the Toyota Center. However, the "SexyBack" crooner took some time to drop by Santa Fe, the site of the most recent lethal high school shooting.
On Friday, Timberlake paid a visit to Sarah Salazar, who is being treated for multiple injuries stemming from the May 18th attack that left 10 dead, and 14 others injured. He brought the teen a gift, and stopped to pose for a photo that was eventually shared on Facebook shortly afterwards by Salazar's mother.
Timberlake then took to Instagram later on that night with the a caption that read "Texas strong," which vividly alludes to overcoming the collective grief throughout the state in the aftermath of the shooting.
Salazar's family has set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for the extensive surgeries she must now endure in order to recover from the incident. "Her shoulder was shattered. Her mandible is fractured and she also has several rib fractures. She was shot from the neck down to her thigh. She is intubated and is recovering from the trauma to her neck vessels. After that, she will require several surgeries."
