Is Cleveland Dez Bryant's next destination?

The Cleveland Browns have reportedly considered bringing in free agent wide receiver Dez Bryant with Josh Gordon being away from the team as part of his overall health and treatment plan. The Browns fully expect Gordon to be ready to go for the start of the season, but they've at least had discussions about adding Bryant to their receiving core, which includes Jarvis Landry and Corey Coleman.

"Have we had discussions about Dez Bryant?" Browns general manager John Dorsey told the media one day before the opening of training camp, according to ESPN. "Yeah, that's natural. You're going to have discussions like that.

"Now, we'll see what comes to fruition in the next couple days, but we've talked about it."

"I've had a chance to be around Dez," he said. "I've known Dez. I got a chance, when he was down there at Lufkin, Texas, I actually went to his workout and got a chance to meet him down there. I know what kind of person he is and what makes him.

"He's a very talented player."

Bryant, 29, was released by the Dallas Cowboys in April and reportedly turned down an offer from the Baltimore Ravens just weeks later. He has remained unsigned as players around the league report for training camp this week.

Since being selected by the Cowboys 24th overall in the 2010 NFL Draft, Bryant has spent his entire career in Dallas, including three Pro Bowl seasons. He earned First-Team All-Pro honors in 2014 when he caught a career-best 16 touchdowns. Last season, Bryant caught 69 passes, including six touchdowns, for a grand total of 838 yards and was tied for third in the league in dropped passes.
