Lil Baby and Gunna have been teasing their joint project, Drip Harder for a minute. While the two initially teased a summer release, the project ultimately took a bit longer to come out and finally dropped at the beginning of the month. The two rappers kicked off the campaign for their joint project with the single, "Drip Too Hard" which debuted at number 28. After climbing up three positions to number 25 last week, the single made a major leap into the Billboard Hot 100 top five this week.
Lil Baby and Gunna land themselves a top-five single on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Drip Too Hard." The single landed has reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 marking Lil Baby's second top 10 single following "Yes Indeed" with Drake and Gunna's first. This comes a week after the release of their joint project, Drip Harder. The leap "Drip Too Hard" made from number 25 to number 4 makes it this weeks' Streaming Gainer winner. Additionally, the song topped Billboard's Streaming Songs chart after the single was streamed upwards to 69 percent more than the week previous.
Aside from inching towards the top of the Billboard Hot 100, Lil Baby and Gunna's joint project, Drip Harder made an impressive debut on the Billboard 200. The duo's joint project made its way to number four on the Billboard 200 after selling 130K equivalent album units in their first week.
