Cardi B's transition to mainstream success may have been cemented by "Finesse," her collaboration with Bruno Mars, pop music's current crossover king. The duo is set to release another joint track this month. The single, which is set to be released on January 25, might be pushed back, however, due to Cardi' hectic schedule. The timing is likely strategic since both Cardi and Bruno have been tapped to perform together as the headliners of the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest on Saturday, February 2.
The Bruno Mars feature hasn't been confirmed as part of Cardi's upcoming album as of yet. The "Bodak Yellow" star is planning to roll out the followup to her successful debut album this coming year. "Of course, it's going to be an album in 2019. Hopefully, I can get my album done around the same time that Invasion of Privacy came out," she said. "I don't know how possible that's going to be because I feel like I'm going to be extremely, extremely busy."
A busy schedule and altered priorities had kept Cardi from following through on joining Bruno Mars on tour after the birth of her daughter. It's great to see that their professional relationship continues to thrive.
