Chief Keef got a pretty sweet deal in his DUI case.

It's been another prolific year for Chief Keef. The rapper recently released, Back From The Dead 3 which served as his eighth project of 2018. However, he's also been dealing with a few legal issues. The rapper was arrested for DUI in Miami last year after police pulled him over and ended up discovering drugs in his vehicle. Today, the rapper got lucky after he copped himself a plea deal in the case.

According to TMZ, Chief Keef struck himself a pretty sweet deal in his DUI case. The rapper was charged with a felony DUI, but managed to get it reduced after he pleaded no contest to a reckless driving charge. The rapper will now have to serve six months of probation and he was ordered to do 50 hours of community service. However, as part of his plea deal, the rapper is prohibited from using any sort of intoxicants in excess.

After Chief Keef was arrested in Miami last year, the rapper tested positive to eight different drugs including Morphine, Codeine, Promethazine, THC, Hydrocodone, Norcodeine, Dihydrocodeine, and Hydromorphone. This would likely explain why Keef has been barred from abusing any substances during his six months of probation.

Thankfully, Keef won't be spending any time in jail. While he already dropped eight projects this year, it wouldn't be surprising if he dropped off a ninth before the year ends.
