For many of us, success means financial freedom, creative independence, a fulfilling career, successful relationships, and a bank account so impressive, we could easily cop our folks a big 'ole house. Or at least drop a $100K on them when we see fit. For R&B crooner, Jacquees, that dream is a reality.
While celebrating his mother Rosie Broadnax's wedding at the Chateau Elan Winery & Resort in Braselton, Georgia this past weekend, the Cash Money mogul got on the mic to let the world know how he feels. He began by telling the wedding guests that his mother was extremely special to him and revealed that he wanted to ensure that she and her spouse up could walk comfortably into this new chapter of their lives. He then proceeded to pull out two bags containing immense amounts of cash which he gifted to the newlyweds. Shortly after sharing his gift, the musician embraced his mother who was visibly emotional and her husband in an incredibly endearing moment.
Jacquees fans will recognize the significance of the gift and the success that it symbolizes for the artist who has worked tirelessly to get to where he is today. Earlier this year, Quees told Tidal that the recognition and support he has been receiving as of late is a great source of joy. "It feels good," he said. "It’s early in my career as far as me being in the game. I’ve been around for like 10 years but it feels great to get the love I feel I always deserved. It’s another thing to get the love from the people you looked up to, like working with people like Chris [Brown], who tells you, ‘You’re the next one’ and you was just at home, watching him on TV. It was like you got handpicked by God to be in that position."
