After catching an early preview of Cardi B’s forthcoming video for “I Like It” last week thanks to Youtube Music’s commercial, it looks like we’re just hours away from receiving the final product. On Monday night, Cardi hopped on Instagram and informed fans that the video for “I Like It” is dropping tomorrow morning at 10 A.M. on Youtube Music.
“I LIKE IT” Music video will premiere tomorrow at 10am on @youtubemusic!!!!!!!!!!! #invasionofprivacy ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️” she captioned the post, while sharing another glimpse into what’s to come. As we’ve seen, Cardi looks to deliver a choreographed visual that finds her showing off her Salsa dance moves & Spanish culture, while J. Balvin also makes a cameo.
The song itself is in support of Cardi’s debut album Invasion of Privacy, which debuted #1 on the Billboard charts and sold a whopping 255,000 album units in its opening week. That feat alone made Cardi the fifth female rapper to ever top the chart with her debut album, which was just one of the few record-breaking accomplishments.
