Kendrick Lamar spreads his wings in Tokyo this weekend.

Kendrick Lamar is teaming with Nike to present Tokyo residents with a unique opportunity to cop in-store DNA merch. The pop-up is a shared initiative with TDE, Nike and local streetwear retailer Undercover, ahead of Kendrick's appearance at the Fuji Rock Festival. The exclusive merch drop will be set at NikeLab’s MA5 location in Tokyo.

Fans will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own the following signature threads: a black tee with DNA art work as well interlinking proverbs, one that reads "Nobody pray for me," the other "Chaos balance" alongside an inscription that holds the insignia of all collaborators.

The pop-up shop will be erected for two days (July 27-28) while Kendrick and his reps are in town to oversee the haul. TDE's merch run for DAMN was restocked back in February, with the label refocusing its attention on speedway-themed Championship product run. So in a sense, the Undercover collab in Japan is not only a one-off arrangement, but the sole client still hosting DAMN apparel in 2018.

Kendrick headlines Saturday's lineup at the Fuji Rock Festival, a group of artists that includes Skrillex, Princess Nokia and MGMT. The other festival dates will feature performances by N.E.R.D and Anderson .Paak with his backing band The Free Nationals.
