For those who don't know, which is probably many of you, Oprah Winfrey has a grocery store brand: O, That’s Good!, is obviously what its called. They've now added frozen pizza to their list of food items.
Oprah released the brand a year ago, only including homemade soups and side dishes but she has recently made efforts to expand. The crust on her new frozen pizzas is ⅓ cauliflower, continuing her passion for adding vegetables to timeless classics. Oprah said in a statement, “I am always looking to add a nutritious twist to my foods, so we made part of the crust in my new pizza with cauliflower while maintaining that classic, cheesy pizza flavor you and your family love.”
Manufacturer, Kraft Heinz, said that the new pizzas are 11 inches and will serve 5 people. They come in four flavors including Five Cheese, Uncured Pepperoni, Supreme and Fire Roasted Veggie. Each separate serving contains 280 - 330 calories and 3 - 5 grams of fat. Each pizza is listed at $6.99.
In addition to the pizza, O, That’s Good, is releasing other soups and sides, including Chicken with White & Wild Rice Soup, Roasted Corn Chowder, Sour Cream & Chive Mashed Potatoes and Broccoli Cheddar Rice.
Kraft Heinz and Winfrey said they are motivated to continue growing, "Our mission is to continue to grow the business, to grow across different categories and find a twist on a product, a better balance of taste and nutrition.”
The cauliflower-crusted pizzas debut in stores today. Will you be supporting Oprah in this latest business endeavour?
