Pusha T dropped what many are calling an instant classic last week. On Friday, the head of G.O.O.D. Music gave the world DAYTONA, a seven-song masterpiece produced entirely by Kanye West. On the outro of the album, Pusha T threw several shots at Drake, who returned them with bars of his own on "Duppy Freestyle." With his brother locked into his on-again-off-again beef with Drake, No Malice chimed in and gave fans his two cents on the topic.
In a live stream that was posted on YouTube by MreckTV, No Malice admitted that he thought the back and forth between his brother Pusha T and Drake "make for good for hip-hop." Other than that, he did not reveal what he thought about either record. No Malice also admitted that this was first Pusha T solo project that he has ever listened to. “This is the first [solo] album that I even listened to from Push,” he stated. “It wasn’t because I was shunning it, you know, it’s just hip hop don’t feed me, you know what I’m saying?” He continued on to suggest that hip-hop has changed, and it lacks the authenticity it once had.
"That’s what made me love Hip Hop, that I could believe in the artist and the art," No Malice said. “So yeah, the artistry of my brother’s work to me is amazing. It’s amazing. Of course, I don’t agree with everything he’s saying and all the messages, you know, but he didn’t make the album that leads people to the Lord.”
