Summer 2019 couldn't come sooner.

The anticipated season three of Stranger Things has finished filming which means we've gotten one step closer to the third chapter that will tell us what the hell is happening in Hawkins. The news of production wrap comes from stars Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour and Noah Schnapp's who shared similar posts on their Instagram celebrating the end of call times and filming, for now.

"We're either going to season 4 or season 5," David ( Jim Hopper) said when talking about the future of the show. "It's still being debated. I do know the arc of the story, though. This was something that I discussed with [show creators] the Duffer brothers right from day one."

Not too long ago we learned that the Duffer Brothers originally had different plans for Millie's character (Eleven) since they were meant to kill her off in season one. "Eleven was going to sacrifice herself to save the day," Ross Duffer said. "That was always the end game. But once we realized that the show was potentially going to go on longer than one season, we needed to leave it more up in the air, because deep down we knew the show just wouldn’t really work without Eleven. And at that point, we knew how special Millie was. If there was going to be more Stranger Things, Eleven had to come back."
