Ever since the University of Michigan officially partnered up with Jordan Brand, we've seen plenty of Wolverines inspired Air Jordan retros, including a full maize and blue collection.
And just like the student-athletes at the University of Oregon, Georgetown, UNC and other Jordan sponsored schools, the Wolverines' have received special edition Air Jordans, such as the blue and maize Air Jordan 12s. As it turns out, you don't have to be a member of Michigan athletics to get your hands on those special edition kicks.
Jordan Brand reportedly has plans to release the Michigan themed Air Jordan 12 on Saturday, June 23rd for $225. Official images of the kicks recently surfaced, revealing a sneaker that looks very similar to the Wolverines-inspired PSNY x Air Jordan 12 collab, minus the PSNY branding. The shoes are built on a "college navy" suede upper, accompanied by "amarillo" accents including the unmistakeable block "M" logo on the tongue of the right shoe.
The limited edition kicks will release tomorrow at 10am ET via Nike and Nike SNKRS, as well as major retailers like Foot Locker, Footaction, Finish Line, Eastbay, Champs Sports and other select sneaker shops.
