Demi Lovato let Instagram have it, rightfully.

Demi Lovato has been out of rehab for a few weeks now and is louder than ever when it comes to standing up for herself against the endless rumors and more recently, standing up for others after Instagram allowed a horrible fat-shaming advertisement.

The ad in question was for some kind of video game and showed an "obese" woman in comparison to a "pretty" woman who was much skinnier.

“Why is this fat shaming bullshit on my feed?” Demi shared on her Instagram story. “So many things wrong with this ad.”

She added: “This is absolutely harmful to anyone who is easily influenced by societal pressures put on us by diet culture to constantly be losing weight in a world that teaches us to equate our value and worth with the way we look and especially anyone in recovery from an eating disorder."

Her final words to Instagram tells the social media app to keep such content off the feeds of people who may easily be affected. “With how aware people are becoming of mental health and mental illnesses, I expect you guys to know better by allowing this advertisement to be allowed on your app. And shame on the game," she added.
