After releasing just 500 pairs at a pop-up event in New York City this September, A$AP Rocky's first Under Armour sneaker collab is officially slated to release on November 14 at 10am ET via www.UA.com and www.AWGE.com. The A$AP Rocky x Under Armour SRLo, retailing for $250, will be available two colorways, triple black and black/cream.
Inspired by ‘90s skate and rave culture, A$AP Rocky and Under Armour teamed up with former pro skater and footwear designer Dave Mayhew to bring Rocky’s design to life. According to Under Armour, Mayhew first designed the boundary-pushing sneaker that the SRLo is modeled after – the D3 – about 20 years ago when bulkiness was in high demand.
As part of their partnership, the brand offered Rocky complete artistic control. His SRLo (Skate, Rave, Lo) features a mixed material upper, a reflective lacing system, and a midsole featuring UA HOVR, the brand’s signature proprietary cushioning platform.
