To say T.I. is in the doghouse would be an understatement. Days after being caught creeping with another woman, T.I. posted a quote disparaging the institution of marriage. Problem is: he's still married to wife Tiny, and she's fighting for sovereign Queen status til the bitter end. Without peering closer to the general make-up of their relationship, it's safe to say the couple has reached a stalemate in their long winding romance.
Last night, Tameka "Tiny" Harris showed up at the Rhythm & Soul Awards to claim her lifetime achievement award for her contribution to legendary R&B quartet Xscape, along with bandmates Kandi Burruss, Tamika Scott and LaTocha Scott. Past recipients of the award include Usher, Lauryn Hill, Ne-Yo, Mary Mary, A Tribe Called Quest, Alicia Keys, New Edition, Lionel Richie, Jermaine Dupri, LL Cool J, Diddy and Jay-Z.
T.I. was recently spotted in South Africa celebrating the graduation of his oldest son. The expedition was a bit of a "guys trip," as both Tiny and her husband look set on taking a regenerative space from one another. T.I. is expected to attend the BET Awards on Sunday in the capacity of a presenter. We'd have to expect he'll going about his TV responsibilities without his estranged wife.
