Earlier this year Nike and Playstation teamed up for a special edition colorway of Paul George's signature sneaker, the Nike PG2. As it turns out, that's not the only Playstation inspired colorway of Paul George's signature line coming out this year.
Following in the footsteps of the Playstation Nike PG2 is a Playstation x Nike PG 2.5, which is built on a predominately grey upper accompanied by tonal PS-inspired accents about the heel and forefoot strap. Additional details include PS & PG logos on the tongue and insoles, as well as "Paul George" spelled out on the heels in PS-style font.
“I just had a knack for video games,” George explained to Nike. “As soon as I discovered PlayStation, I was throwing hints here and there to my dad — cutting out the clipping of a video game, cutting out the clippings of the PlayStation, leaving it on his dresser. I remember on Christmas morning, I unwrapped my gift and sure enough, it was the PS2. I've been a PlayStation guy ever since.”
As of now, it is believed the kicks will release sometime this month for the retail price of $110, though a specific release date has not yet been confirmed.
